If you recall several months ago, we reported that actor Boris Kodjoe joined the new J.J. Abrams-produced spy drama Undercovers on NBC with actresses Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Jessica Parker Kennedy.
Since the announcement of the new show that will feature African Americans in the lead roles of a new spy drama, we have been anticipating the announcement of the date of the actual show’s premiere.
Well, today NBC announced the premiere date; The spy drama Undercovers premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd, followed by the return of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit to 9 p.m. and the series premiere of Law & Order: Los Angeles.
In case you are not up to speed on the shows’ premise, we hear that the show is about a couple who years into their retirement, are re-activated as CIA agents.
