'Black-ish' Executive Producer Larry Wilmore Set To Host The Writers Guild Awards New York Ceremony!

Larry WilmoreDaily Show correspondent and Black-ish executive producer Larry Wilmore will be hosting the 67th annual Writers Guild Awards New York Ceremony on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015 at the Edison Ballroom.

The news was announced by The Writers Guild of America East today.  Wilmore joins a long line of prolific WGA NYC Award hosts including Bill Murray, Tina Fey, Seth Meyers, Colin Quinn and Al Franken among others.

Wilmore is a four-time WGA Award nominee, three for his work on NBC’s The Office and a 2002 Emmy winner in the outstanding writing comedy series category for The Bernie Mac Show.  Wilmore is set to host the Comedy Central news program The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore which will premiere on Jan. 19.

The WGA NYC ceremony runs simultaneous with the Los Angeles edition, which will be at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
