Comedy Director Judd Apatow has been using his Twitter following to publicly criticize embattled comedian Bill Cosby.
In a series of tweets to Twitter followers Apatow has been on a Twitter tirade following the sexual abuse allegations leveled at comedian Bill Cosby.
Apatow tweeted shots like:
“I am pretty sure I have sex with less people than he raped.”
— “Cosby has more victims than some cool people have followers.”
— “they should remake the Cosby show with scenes of Dr. Huxtable doing what Cosby has been doing. A perfect show for FX.”
In one tweet Apatow even insinuating that Cosby had “intimate knowledge” about drugs.
“Black-ish” creator Kenya Barris began a series of tweets to Apatow asking the noted director to stop the almost “strangely obsessive” Twitter barage.
Although Barris didn’t defend Cosby he asked the director to not kick the comedian amid the unproven allegations.
Barris repeatedly complemented Apatow while voicing his personal concerns that his comments to Apatow would “deservedly now ruin my fledgling career.”
