We are pretty sure that you know by now the show The Soul Man starring Cedric The Entertainer and Niecy Nash on TV Land, and so far, is doing extremely well for the network. As we have previously reported, the new show has Ced as a new Pastor who used to be an R&B star who is adjusting to the new life along with his wife who is played by Nash.
Well, we were invited to the set and we were able to capture some interviews with the cast so we wanted to start out this series of interviews with one of the Executive Producers of the show Eric Rhone. Rhone is the force behind Cedric The Entertainer (Bird And A Bear Productions) and he has a “hands on” approach to everything relating to Ced. We got a chance to speak with Rhone about this new show, Ced’s upcoming projects, and most importantly, the opportunities that are present for other African Americans in Hollywood on other sitcoms and a multitude of other behind the scenes jobs.
The Soul Man premiers every Wednesday at 10PM 9PM Central.
