Anthony Mackie to Star In Holiday Comedy 'Let It Snow'!

ANthony MackieOlivia WildeAlan Arkin and Anthony Mackie are heading home for the holidays.

They’ll star in the comedy Let It Snow from CBS Films. The studio has announced the film’s main cast, which features John GoodmanEd HelmsDiane KeatonMarisa TomeiAmanda Seyfried and Nebraska‘s June Squibb.

The film, previously titled Tis The Season, follows the exasperated members of an extended family who gather for their annual holiday celebration. On Christmas Eve, they each face transitional moments in their lives.

Jessie Nelson (I Am Sam) will direct from a script by Steven Rogers (P.S. I Love You).

In a forecast of some reinvented holiday music, T Bone Burnett has signed to produce the soundtrack and serve as executive music producer. The prolific producer  has handled the music on releases including Inside Llewyn DavisThe Hunger Games and Crazy Heart, for which he won an Oscar for best original song.

Nelson will produce the film with Groundswell’s Michael London (The Family Stone) and Janice Williams (Very Good Girls). Imagine Entertainment will executive produce with Keaton, Rogers and Ted Gidlow.

Lionsgate will release the film as part of its distribution deal with CBS Films. It will open in theaters on Nov. 13, 2015.
