Every year, Comedy Central selects a handful of rising comedians to star in their own 30-minute standup specials for The Half Hour, and the network just gave us an exclusive look at the 17 comics chosen for the show’s fifth season set to air in the fall.
The specials will tape at The Civic Theatre in New Orleans from Wednesday, June 1st through Saturday June 4th, and this year’s lineup features Aparna Nancherla, 2015 Just For Laughs New Faces recipients Matthew Broussard and Nate Fernald, Baskets cast member Martha Kelly, Broad City writer Naomi Ekperigin, and more.
