A New Film Starring Mike Epps And Marlon Wayans Moves Forward With New Writer!

Several industry websites, including Deadline (which just broke the story), are reporting that there will be a new film from writer Rodney Barnes, currently an Executive Producer on The Boondocks that will star Mike Epps and Marlon Wayans!

The new buddy action-comedy film is titled Any Means Necessary is about two estranged brothers who team up to go undercover.

The film is currently in priority development at the studio and has Wayans attached to play a cop – opposite Mike Epps as his criminal sibling.

According to Deadline.com, Barnes has a track record of re-writing hit features, having previously re-scripted Sony/Screen Gems’ Think Like A Man, Think Like A Man 2 and Universal’s hit Ride Along. He also wrote and produced Damon Wayans’ sitcom My Wife And Kids, wrote for and co-exec produced Chris Rock’s Everybody Hates Chrisand wrote and co-exec produced the FOX comedy Til Death.
