We discovered that the Showtime Network is launching a new documentary series showcase and we hear that one of the first entertainers to be profiled will be comedy legend Richard Pryor!
The series, titled Closeup, will take an in depth look at many high profile celebrities and their complex lives. The Pryor doc will be titled Richard Pryor: Omit the Logic with no word yet on the air date.
We should state that this seems to be in no relation to the other news we dropped about the other Richard Pryor documentary that was supposed to be developed. If news is made available that this isn’t true we will keep you informed.
